The spinning wrench is the best replacement of the spinning rope or spinning chain. It is applied for the mechanized spinning operation. The applicable range of pipe diameter is wide, and it can arbitrarily adjusted whenever necessary. There are two configurations for clamping apparatus: air tyre and air cylinder. It is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K.

Q245-300Y spinning wrench is a kind of roller-type hydraulic spinning tool, suitable for spinning operation at offshore and onshore drilling. The spinning wrench is applicable for 3-1/2”~10” drill pipe and drill collar. It substitutes traditional rotary rope (rotary chain), which makes spinning operation more safe and greatly relieves the labor fore and increase trip speed. Hydraulic motor on the spinning wrench is of double rotation, which is favorable for coring operation and handling the down-hole accident.

Q250 Pneumatic Spinning Wrench is a pneumatically power tool capable of spinning drill pipe and collar from 3 1/2 to 10 inches O.D., especially used in the mechanized operation of drilling machines in shore and land oilfields instead of previous “chain” and “cord”. It’s operated more safety and with less labor power, and more efficiency. It’s more convenience to fetch core and deal with the problem underwell.

Operation procedure: hang the wrench vertically 0.3-0.5meters above drill pipe coupling, and make drill pipe around four rollers of the spinning wrench. Operate the right handle of combination valve and make the rollers press on the drill pipe. Then operate the left handle and start the right and left motors. Through right and left reduction devices, the motors will bring the respective drive rollers to rotate. Under the moment of friction, drill pipe will rotate along the rollers, so drill pipe coupling will screw in or screw out.

As to different tubular, the opening of spinning wrench may be adjusted to match with it. No need to change rollers. This brings more convenience to manufacture, operation and maintenance of the wrench.
